Asticones (pronounce asteecone) is the first icons navigation software for MacOSX. It is made to help with personalizing the appearance of folders and files, and the management of icons downloaded from the net.
What’s it’s use ?
Asticones lets you navigate in the folders of your hard drives, displaying only the custom icons they contain at the size you want. (It also displays ".icns" icons files and images previews).
Asticones helps you attribute an icon to a file by simply dragging it from the Finder.
With Asticones, you can also:
* see your icons with a colored background
* export an icon by pasting it on a new file
* export an icon as an image file
* Create an icon representing an image preview
* erase a file’s custom icon
* look for updates
Asticones uses the file structure of the Finder, letting you keep "read me" files or other Things that come inevitably with icons distributions on the net.
Asticones is available in french, english and japanese.
